Angling is a game that might be played even by the youngest. You only need some dexterity, or some help from an older one as to succeed in angling with your fishing rod one of the yellow plastic duck that floats in the pond!

Generally, we find angling in fetes, fairs or for children's birthday, as a stand. If you succeed in catching one or more ducks, you may win a prize. It can be a toy, a stuffed animal, or even sometimes, a red fish.

To do angling, you usually have a little fishing stick with a hook tied at the tip of the string. The yellow ducks that float on water are equipped with a ring fixed on their head or back. The goal is to catch the duck by putting your hook in the ring, and take out the duck from the pond without letting it fall.

More recently, another kind of angling was invented. Some toys are trapped in a Plexiglas bow. An articulated hook is suspended by a metallic arm. When you slip a coin, you can point at one toy with the articulated arm as to place it the best you can above the toy you intent to catch. When your position is good, you can press the button: the arm goes down (wide open) on the toy and tightens around it. If you are lucky, the toy will stay in the hook, if not, then keep trying!
