Beer : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Beer
Beer is the most widely consumed type of alcoholic drink in the world. After water, the only essential drink for human survival, and tea, beer is “ranked” as the third most popular drink.
Beer is resulting from the brewing and fermentation of starches (cereal grains such as barley, wheat, maze, rice...). In the process of beer making, the mixture is flavored with hops, which also adds bitterness to the beer.
Beer went through history from the early neolithic to our modern times, to become the popular drink we enjoy nowadays. At first, beer was almost a solid matter (a staple ingredient in the Middle-Ages, for the waterwas dirty and the alcoholic content in the beer made beer safer to drink than water) which gained flavor and its liquid texture through an improvement in brewing skills and methods.

After all, beer is not just the combining of four ingredients (barley, water, hops and yeast). No, the process of making beer is a complex one and lies on a series of chemical reactions, essentials to turn barley into fermentable sugars, and to allow yeast to convert these sugars into alcohol.
Breweries, the factories dedicated in beer making, are equipped with very complex pieces of machinery: a grain mill, to crash the starches, a mash later tun, to break the chain of glucose molecules in the starches, allowing fermentation, a boiling wort, to add bitterness, a brew kettle, forming a whirlpool to separate the solids, a heat exchanger, a fermentation tank, to convert the glucose into alcohol. The final stage in the process of beer making is the bottling, or kegging: beer is either packaged into kegs (cans) or casks (for cask ale).
A beer tank may hold 2,400 gallons (9,085 L)!
There are so many varieties of beer: cherry flavored, ale, lager... (Wikipedia lists 36 types of beer)! The flavor, and the alcoholic content in a beer, are variables that change from one style of beer to another. Usually, in beer producing countries (such as England or Germany), beer is a regional specialty featuring specific characteristic different from one area to another (brewing process, flavor, color...).
Beer is mostly popular in the United Kingdom: it's part of the “pub culture”, so is the pub crawl
but the largest cask in the world is not an england pride, but a Long Island's one: the cask holds 10 000 pints of beer, and the record (established in 2009) for the world's largest cask!!!
