Buses exist since the beginning of the 20th century, and are often confused with coaches. A bus is used to transport people between several points, and it differs from a coach in so far as it only rides urban areas, it has no baggage hold, no seat belts (that are mandatory in coaches), and it has standing places.

Hundreds of car, trucks, bike or motorbike racing games exist, but there are very few bus games available for people fond of driving buses, even though some games like GTA or Midtown Madness included several buses in their games.
