Mitchie Torres is a young girl endowed with a beautiful voice. She'd love to enter Camp Rock for the summer vacation. The only way she's got to do so is to help her mother cook there. Shane Gray (played by Joe Jonas) hears Mitchie sing from afar, but does not manage to see her face. In order to find who this mysterious voice belongs to, he sets up an audition for the camp's final competition.
"Camp Rock" was a big success throughout the world, and is appreciated by children and teenagers.
A sequel to the film was shot in 2009-2010: Camp Rock 2, The Final Jam. It still stars The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato but this time a rival camp appears: Camp Star. Some of the staff from Camp Rock have joined Camp Star. As for Nate Gray (Nick Jonas), he falls in love with Dana (Chloe Bridges): the daughter of the rival camp owner. How is this love gonna end?
