A circus is a place where we go to applaud artists presenting some sideshows as beautiful as impressive. The circus artists used to live as nomads in trailers and to travel all over one country to present their show. Today, some showmen are still living in caravans and are traveling from city to city. They may also drive with speakers to promote their show in town, which is a good way to attract children's interest. Indeed, when a circus is in town, children like to go see the animals settling around: camels, elephants, lions, tigers... make the children's bliss.

The circus as a construction is a big top, often build by the artists themselves, highly colored and often striped vertically. Inside, some benches have been put up in bow, leaving room on the other side for the backstage, whereas in the middle is a circular ring, often covered with sand for the animals.

Several domains are most often represented in circus: animal training, clown shows, trapeze artists, magic, jugglery, and other acrobats of all kinds. You would have understood, circus is -above all- a live performing art, where even adults come back to childhood thanks to its so particular world. Despite this festive side, we should not forget either that the circus artists are training daily all along the year as to realize these stunning performances.

Today, circus has evolved and take other faces, specializing in a particular field for instance. From now on, the best companies are happening worldly to present their show. Le Cirque du Soleil is one of the most famous one. It does not propose any animal training sideshow but only human performances, orchestrated by musical and light creations state-of-the-art, making these shows really mind-blowing!
