Comic : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Comic

A comic is a book that contains not only writings but especially images that tell a story. In a comic book, the drawings may be in black and white, in colors, painted or colored thanks to computer programs. The story's format may also vary. Most of the time, a comic book is not autonomous but belongs to a series, either of a few episodes, or of a hundred.

Comics appear in Switzerland in the 1830's and develop quickly and globally thanks to the press. It is only during the 1950's that comic books boomed in Japan thanks to the now famous drawer Osamu Tezuka, whose mangas are now known everywhere in the world.

A comic book may be an assemblage of many short stories, usually one or two pages long, or an whole episode in a series. We could name Calvin and Hobbes, which is still a great success all over the world and that has been translated in many languages, unlike most comics that usually remain very national. This comic features Calvin, a six-year old boy who has a great imagination and many conversations with his stuffed tiger. Mixing the child's reflexions on the world with his tiger's sarcasms, Bill Watterson (writer and illustrator) made a great satirical comic strip that pleased millions of readers!

Superheroes have also become very famous thanks to the comics. Superman is the first of numerous following superheroes that will soon follow. The comic, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1938 has since been adapted to every media: TV, cinema, video games, cartoons, and so on.
