A crash can refer to a collision, and accident, or even a bankruptcy. This word is also used in various fields such as music, computing, or aviation.
In music, it designs a particular type of cymbal (crash cymbal), and its name comes from the particular and loud sound it produces, and its diameter is usually between 16 an 20 inches.
In aviation, when a plane is compelled to land without its landing gear, its is also called a crash. Crash must not be confused with a forced landing, which is an unplanned landing, but that happens normally.
