Crazy frog : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Crazy Frog

Everybody knows Crazy Frog games. But Crazy Frog was, at the origin, just... a ring tone. Yeah, that's right. Two men were behind this amphibian: Daniel Malmedahl, and Erik Wernquist, both Swedish guys. The first imitated the sound of a two-stroke moped vehicle, the latter added a computer animation.

But the ring tone was an unexpected success, and a variety of by-products were created after the success. Songs, games, stuffed frogs, etc. The first single, a remix of “Axel F” became the best sold singles of the year 2005. Other followed, all successful. DJs even used them in nightclubs!

In the recent years, many games featuring the Crazy Frog, also known (maybe even better known) as “The Annoying Thing” have been released. The first one was and racing game launched in 2005 by a UK company and was called Crazy Frog Racer. Many other games and by-products followed: key rings, backpacks, mugs, plushes, etc.

A DVD even features the crazy amphibian. But the US version is not exactly like the original (European) one. The genitals of the frog were removed so as not to offend anyone. Even video clips were some sort of a problem in the United-Kingdom. The penis of the frog was also removed for the same reasons.

The Crazy Frog had such a tremendous success, that even computer viruses used its name to spread on the web...
