Fishing is the equivalent of hunting but concerns marine animals.

Sport fishing's aim is to “simply” fish the biggest fish possible so as to win the competition. This sport can be practiced in saltwater or fresh water areas. Depending on the place, there will be various species of fish.

Speaking of big fish, the biggest fish ever discovered was a Leedsichthys problematicus, a fish that lived 150 millions of years ago. Its size could vary between 12 meters to 17 meters long. However, a specimen was found in Peterborough which measured 22 meters (72 feet) long! It is twice as much as the biggest fish currently swimming our oceans!
