1999, 2001, 2003, 2006 are the dates when the new versions of the Flight Simulator video game series were released. As the last version of the game came out in 2006, we can think that the developer of the game, Aces Studio is preparing Flight Simulator 11 for 2009 or 2010. The developer is also preparing Train Simulator 2, which is highly inspired from Flight Simulator.

The cities and spots where the game is going to take place are not known yet, but the biggest metropolises like Los Angeles, Paris or London are likely to appear in the game.
However, the game is supposed to contain at least 30 cities in addition to countries and mountains, and about 20 airports where the missions of Flight Simulator XI will happen. Thus, the game will allow the player to understand how difficult it is to run a plane, above all by bad weather in difficult conditions.

Flight Simulator is supposed to be released only on computer, and it is not likely to be release on a video game console.
