Hockey is a team sport most of the time played on an ice rink. It can also be played on lawn, and the rules slightly differ. Ice hockey turned into an Olympic competition in 1920 and is very successful.
The game is well-known for the brutality of its matches, and the players wear such heavy protections that it can sometimes slow down some moves.

The game is played with two teams of 6 players each. Each team has a goal keeper who has to protect the goal from the puck that the players hit with the stick. Contrary to what it seems, it is a very tiring sport, and it comes from Canada. A lot of agility and strength are needed to move on the ice, and avoid falls during contacts.

The most common composition of the teams, is 3 attackers, 2 defenders and a goal keeper. Contacts are allowed only on the player having the puck, and the opposite team will try to destabilize him to make him fall and get the puck back. A special line around the ice rink prevents the puck from going outside the game field.
