Hulk is an American comics starring a man transforming in a green giant. It was a real hit in the USA and then all over the world, and Hulk became cult for children as for adults.

Before the existence of Hulk, there was Bruce Banner, a scientist specialized in the search about gamma rays. During a nuclear test, Bruce who set up the experimentation, realises that a child, Rick Jones, is completely in the exposed area of the test. Bruce rushes on the child, and puts him in a hole to protect him, but it is too late for Bruce, who is already exposed to the gamma rays.

After this event, Bruce realizes that when he is stressed or angry, his muscular mass increases, his body becomes really stocky, he grows up, has an amazing strength and turns green : The incredible Hulk was born. Unable to keep this body under control, he realizes that these mutations can represent a danger for him and for the people around him. Bruce Banner crosses the USA to find out a shelter and invent a serum able to give him back his normal appearance.

At first, Hulk was not green but grey, but the results of the printed version didn't look pretty in grey, so the publishers decided to make it green, a colour easier to reproduce at this period. Millions of Hulk comics were sold. Like his super hero comrades Spiderman, Batman, or Iron Man, Hulk often faces monsters, aliens, devils and so on... a formula that pleases to the readers of yesterday and today.
