In the jungle, everything seems huge, excessive, oppressive... vegetation is so dense that some machete falls are needed to be able to make one's way through. Moreover, the climate is so hot and humid that we are quickly soaking wet !

For jungle is wild and indomitable, it has often been the object of stories where the protagonist has to manage with some dangers around him an dodge traps. The Jungle Book is one of the most well-known book : Mowgli (the main character), a young boy, learn at his own risk how jungle may be dangerous for one person alone. So he meets with bad ones : a hungry snake, some kidnapper-monkeys, and a hunting tiger.

Originally, jungle designated precisely a type of forest in India that was either tropical or equatorial. But then, the meaning has become wider and we now talk of jungle as soon as vegetation looks dense, very green, humid or virgin. Jungle, for now on, means this unexplored thing, what is exotic, wild and anarchical as well.

From this definition of jungle, many tales have been written, especially wildlife ones, where jungle is the scene of a lawless justice, and only the strongest ones survive. We talk of “the law of the jungle”, a popular expression that we frequently use to state on a hierarchical system which is not really democratic, or to comment on a general attitude in a place for instance.

However, jungle attracts all of those who have an adventurous mind, who are looking for action, danger and adrenaline rush. And if going to India sounds impossible now, come play to our jungle games, you won't be disappointed !
