Kung fu : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Kung Fu
Kung fu is a Chinese martial art that was born during the 5th century in the Shaolin Monastery (or Shaolin Temple). The Indian buddhist monk Bodidharma used to teach Chan Buddhism and the basics of boxing from his country to Shaolin monks. Over the years, the monks developed Kung fu and mastered the practice of this martial art so that they could protect their temple.
Kung fu is a complete martial art, thus its practice is not limited to mere trainings in which the trainees learn the different punches. They are taught various bare knuckle techniques, or with knives, as well as any kind of projection, chokes, joint-locks and techniques imitating the moves of animals.
During the trainings, there are also Qigong, stretching, and even singing exercises. Like in any other martial art, moral values such as the respect of the opponent are taught.

The best kung fu fighters, such as the Shaolin monks, are famous for the unbelievable mastery of their body and the management of their strength. Indeed, they are able to perform exploits that would be impossible to do and very dangerous for a non-trained person. For instance, some are able to push a car on several meters thanks to a lance of which the tip is placed at the base of the throat!!
Bruce Lee\'s movies during the 60\'s have widely contributed to the popularity of this martial art.
