A magician is an artist who uses illusion as to realize some magic tricks more or less impressive. They surprise us by making things disappear and appear in font of us, from scarfs to rabbits, passing by doves !

A magician as described or represented in tales and other fables is typically equipped with a big pointed hat and a long coat with large sleeves, black or dark blue. Whereas the magician who produces himself on stage or in cabaret wears, most of the time, a black three-piece suit and a top hat, black as well. Of course, these two kinds of magician would be nothing without their magic wand!

Magicians in tales are endowed with extraordinary powers and can change humans in animals if they want to. Magicians are often opposed to wizards who may use black magic. That is to say that the wizards' intention are not always good, unlike magicians who -despite their taste for tricks- have more laudable intentions in general. Magicians' bible is their book of magic spells, a kind of recipe book containing all their tricks.

As for the stage magicians, they are people who learned some tricks that they have repeated like athletes to realize them perfectly. As a result, spectators are always very impressed by one magician's feats, because a magician never points to none of his tricks and never reveals anything. For magicians do not have magical powers, they are just very dexterous and skilled illusionists!
