Narnia : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Narnia
The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven books written by the Irish writer C.S.Lewis, from 1950 to 1956. The books are not written in the chronological order.
Lewis' work was unknown in France until Disney adapted it on screen.
In fact, Narnia is a fictional world, full of magic and inhabited with mythical creatures (centaurs, griffons, unicorns, phoenix, dragons...)and talking animals (lions, mice, horses, wolves...).
There are three main places in Narnia: Lantern Waste, Stone Table and Cair Paravel (the king and queen's castle in Narnia).
It is Aslan -the lion- that created the world of Narnia thanks to his song. Trees, hills and rivers appeared and animals were able to talk. At first it was a world inhabited with animals only. However in the first book, Dogory Kirke and his friend Polly made humans come. They'll become the kings of Narnia: Peter Pevensie and Susan Pevensie as well as Edmund and Lucy Pevensie. Some awful adventures happen to them, especially with the white witch Jadis.

This wonderful story has been adapted on screen and has enabled the novels to be known.
On December,8th of 2005 "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" is released. It is directed by Andrew Adamson and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
The first chapter tells the story of four brothers and sisters: Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie who are sent to the countryside to flee WWII. While playing hide-and-seek, Lucy discovers a huge wardrobe that happens to lead to Narnia. There, she meets Tumnus -half human, half goat. Lucy shares the news with her brothers and sisters; they all find themselves in the marvellous world of Narnia.
They come across some beavers that tell them they are destined to become kings and queens of Narnia, but only if they defeat the white witch and her army with the help of Aslan.
Edmund escapes and runs into the white witch who promises he can get anything he wants in return for information. The others are on their way to meet Aslan despite many incidents. Because he betrayed his family, Edmund now belongs to the witch. In order to save him, Aslan suggests he takes Edmund's place. She accepts and kills him, thinking he'll die. But Aslan does not die given he is not a traitor.
During the final battle, Aslan kills the witch and crowns the children.
The sequel to this first chapter was released in cinemas in 2008 with "Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia". "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" will be released in 2010, followed by "The Silver Chair" in 2012.
