A Park is a place, more or less preserved, but controlled by men.
There are several kinds of parks : zoological parks (most commonly called zoos) that recreate the natural space of animals to allow them wandering while being observed by visitors ; amusement parks that consist in a big area containing various rollercoasters, carousels, slot machines, entertainments and animal shows ; nature parks are big protected spaces where fauna and flora live together. These parks are dedicated to the protection of wildlife, but can nevertheless be visited by men. Some other parks are intended to develop visitor\'s knowledges in a playful way such as Jurassic Park, but this park supposedly got shut down before it even had a chance to open !!^^

The term park does not only refer to a place offering an entertainment, or protection to nature, but it also designates any kind of gathering of some buildings belonging to the same sector in a given place, such as industrial park for instance.
