The adventures of Jack Sparrow have been the object of 3 films, a fourth one being shot presently. In the first movie, the plot revolves around the theft of the Blackpearl -Jack Sparrow's ship- by Barbossa. In addition Elisabeth Swann (Keira Knightley)gets kidnapped. Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) decides to form an alliance with Jack Sparrow in order to find the Blackpearl and save her fiancée from Barbossa's clutches.
In the other two movies, Jack Sparrow is both evil and good, executioner and victim. He gets cursed and then trapped...and is finally saved...
