Pong : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Pong

Back to the 70's, Pong was a must-have in every arcade rooms. Released in 1972, people who went crazy for this arcade game only waited 3 years before being able to play it on their console.
Pong was created in the early ages of video games. It is not the first game that was ever released, but its success grew so far beyond expectations that it is considered as THE pioneer in the world of video games.

Pong offers to simulate table tennis. Rules and purposes are therefore quite similar between the “real-life” game and the video game.
The screen of arcade machines, and nowadays TV and computers, is like a ping-pong table, the area of which spreads on the whole surface of the screen.
At each side of the table, two paddles must be controlled by the player.
Pong is a single or multi-player game: up to 2 players can play at the same time.

The paddles can only move on a vertical axis. Usually paddles are little bars that go up and down the screen.
To play, a player must command one of the paddle. Then, a ball is like “thrown” on the table, and he must hit it back and forth with his paddle.
When he fails to return the ball, his opponent scores a point.
A player wins when he scores first the number of points needed to end a game.

Kid Paddle, the video game geek cartoon character , was named after the paddles of Pong!
