Radio enabled people to communicate on ships, airplanes, and enabled the very first direct instant contact between 2 or more persons when phones could not be installed. Indeed, at the time, it was impossible to use phones on board of ships and airplanes.
The world's tallest radio mast is that of Warsaw, which was almost 650 meters tall. It collapsed in 1991.
