A school is an institution where many people come to learn. There can be private or public schools, but they have all been created for people to benefit from a collective education given by qualified teachers. School may be compulsory or optional from country to country, but in the Western countries, schooling is usually compulsory from 6 to 16. Unfortunately, in some countries, school is not allowed for girls; whereas in others, children are not due to attend or simply cannot attend it for their country is at war or because their parents desperately need them to work at their farm or else. School is definitely not a chance for everyone in the world, even today.

School aim is to educate the soon-to-be workers and get one country's searchers, producers and employees. In that perspective, children must learn how to count and read. And students to learn a skill that they can use to produce something. Also, civil basics are taught at school as to make good citizens who are able to live in society and adapt as well as possible.

However, the term school may also refer to institutions that teach specific fields or skills like a dance school, or a business school. In any case, school is often the place where children get their first memories and make their first friends. Hence, so many moments become unforgettable and a lot of movies and TV shows have been made out of school memories, bad or good ones.
