Solid Snake is the hero of the games series of Metal Gear Solid. This video game series started in 1987 and included several games that enabled Konami to become very popular all over the world during the 90's. In the first games Solid Snake was said to be 5,83 feet tall (1m78) and weighted 165 pounds (75kgs) but the new games of the series say he is 5,97 feet tall.

He was born in 1972 and was in infiltration in Iraq during the Gulf War in 1991. Solid Snake was hired among the special group of operation commandos named Fox Hound in 1995. The story of Solid Snake changes throughout the episodes of Metal Gear Solid games, and allows the player to play as him in special missions and tough fightings.
