Starcraft : All The Best Free Flash Games Relating To Starcraft

StarCraft is a real time strategy game created by Blizzard Entertainment. It was first released in April 1998 on PC and a Macintosh version was made in 1999. An adaptation for Nintendo 64 was released in 2000.

The story of the game takes place in a far future, where three races are in confrontation : the Terrans, the Zergs and the Protoss. The Terrans are humans exiled from Earth wandering in the solar system. The Zergs are a race of insectoids whose goal is to colonise every planets, and the assimilation of other races. The Protoss are a humanoid race having psychic abilities which goal is to preserve their civilization.

The strength of the game relies on the big diversity linked to the way of managing the three races. Despite some techniques completely different, they have reached a balance never seen yet in these games. Nowadays, 10 years after the release of the game, StarCraft is still among the best real time strategy games and is one of the most played in the Blizzard portal. In 1998 it was a best-selling game and won the Origins Award of the best real time strategy game of the year for PC. Since it was released, more than nine millions copies of the game have been sold worldwide.
