The subway (or tube) is a public transport means which was first created in London. Its construction started in the early 19th century and was completed in 1863. It became very successful with over 26,000 users per day.

There are however, in a few towns, new systems of magnetic levitation, which result in the fact that the subway never comes in contact with the ground. These new systems also allow the subway to gain in speed and to reduce its power consumption.
