Superheroes are fictional heroes who mainly appear in comics. Regarding the comics about superheroes, the two most important publishers in America are Marvel and DC comics.

Superheroes usually have extraordinary powers or particular abilities setting them apart from the common humans. For instance, Superman has an unbelievable strength and can see through the walls ; Batman has many gadgets ; Spider-man is able to climb up walls and spin webs like a spider ; Flash moves with an amazing speed etc... Most of the superheroes are humans, but some of them are aliens, or mutant animals (such as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for example).

They all have a double personality, the one saving and protecting the helpless people and the society, and the personality of regular people living around normal people, and with activities that don't reveal their other identity. Superheroes' suits are usually very tight, and enable to see the muscles while hiding the identity of the hero. These suits are often colorful and distinctive and superheros are recognized at first sight.
