We admire them, we hate them, we worship them and we make fun of them. But, without them, we surely wouldn't be able to do half the things we do.

In many countries, such as France and the US, education is compulsory, yet not school. Well, it may not sound very clear, let me explain it. The presence of a kid within a school considered as such by the state in which it is located is not compulsory. Yet, educating kids is compulsory.
