Toad is one of the most psychedelic characters of the Mario series. He appeared for the first time in Super Mario Bros on NES. The character has a mushroom shape and lives in the Mushroom Kingdom. This being, and all his fellow creatures are half-men half-mushrooms, and their main target is to protect the Princess Peach. Unfortunately they are not powerful enough to effectively struggle against the Browser\'s evil forces, and they always rely on the heroes Mario and Luigi to rescue them.
