Tron legacy is a sequel of the 1982 movie "Tron" made by Steven Lisberger. Tron Legacy is directed by Joseph Kosinski and will be a 2010 science fiction film distributed by Disney.
In the 1982 film, Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) is a fanatic of computers, he is a real genius, a geek. His programs are stolen by Ed Dillinger and he is fired. Kevin will try to prove that he is innocent and for that, he hacks the computing system. But Ed's MCP program will digitize Kevin, and he will be imprisoned in the computer. Kevin has to succeed in a series of games (the famous bike track), and with Tron's help (his friend Alan Bradley), he will manage to exit, to destroy the MCP and he becomes the new CEO of his former company ENCOM.
Tron legacy is the sequel of this story. Sam Flynn is Kevin's son, and he is a geek too. Kevin Flynn, (played by Jeff Bridges once again) a videogame developper has disappeared. He is living for 25 years in gladiatorial games. Sam will try to find and join his father.
