Tom's Games >  Warrior

The term “warrior” is best defined as anyone fighting for or against someone or something.
The definition is broad, as it groups in the same category soldiers, mercenaries, samurai...

A warrior, whatever his way of fighting or the kind of battle - ideological or run for the sake of power- he takes part in, fights to defend his convictions or simply because that's his way of living.
Warriors are often proud people, tightly bound to a code of honor, heritage from the past or self-imposed.
This codes relies on human features such as courage, bravery and loyalty.

Warriors' implication throughout History has fostered the collective idea that one is brave as a lion and powerful as a bull.
From the birth of nations (tribal societies and feudalism), they've always been the driving force of societies that expended by getting involved in wars and conquests.

Warriors live to fight and to hand down battles until the day they die.
Their biggest pride would be to die in the battlefield. They all have their own style of fight and preferred martial art and they train endlessly.

But we can draw a dividing line between warrior's casts.
Some warriors, like samurai, were completely devoted to a cause or to their masters and were ready to die in the name of their ideologies.
Some other were only moved by the financial aspect that fighting could bring, like mercenaries.

Vikings, Goths, Ninjas, Anglo-Saxons, Aztecs... all these societies based on feats of arms reached their climax thanks to warriors.
