Yahtzee is one of the main dice games, and can be played solo or with several people, but it does not belong to hazard games in so far as reflection and strategy are required. This game is played with 5 dice, that are launched 3 times by the player. At the first launch the player has to launch the 5 dice, and then he can keep the dice he wants and launch the others in his second and third throw.
Nevertheless, many variants of these rules exist.
Every player has a sheet to write down the scores. After every throw, a square of the sheet must be completed. The game is played in 13 rounds during which the player chooses which scoring combination he wants to use in the round. Various combinations can be done like three of a kind, a straight, a full house (three of a kind + pair), four of a kind, Yahtzee (all dice showing the same face) etc... Once a combination has been used in the game, it can\'t be used again.
