The Best Of The Midwest: PCA LAN, Continued
I thought I was in the wrong place at the wrong time until I saw a welcome sign of 'nerd' civilization that read, "Sign in FIRST, then bring in PC." I breathed a big sigh of relief, and knew that everything was going to be okay from this point on.
This is the universal notice that you are about to enter a LAN party.
PCA LAN is held inside a large sized, "pole barn" on a family-owned farm of the event sponsor, Greg Roland. Greg spent several days cleaning and clearing out the pole barn and making sure it was sufficiently powered and wired to accommodate the gamers and their PC power requirements. (Special thanks goes to Greg's dad for putting up with all of this.)
First comes the server area...
