Eternal Hellfire And Damnation

It's one thing to be afraid of monsters that want to tear you from limb to limb, but quite another to be terrified by the eternal suffering and torture of Hell. And while some of us aren't afraid of imaginary or fictional creatures that want nothing more to maim and murder us, it is another matter entirely when it comes to being terrified by a satanic, evil force that was conditioned upon you over time. So while I won't go so far as to say that Hell or Satan exist, I will say that for many people, Satan is real and remains the most evil and frightening force imaginable.
True evil, the root of all evil, Satan, call it what you will - this is the most terrifying force facing Christianity. It's important to note that the devil, which is Satan seen through humankind's eyes, is the Christian symbolic representation of true evil.

I don't know about you, but this detailed view of Michelangelo's Last Judgment is scarier than anything I've seen in Doom 3.
Christianity's symbolic view of evil also includes demons, Hell, and many other mental representations created by humankind. This Christian symbolism is so engrained into Western culture that we don't even realize when it's put right in front of our faces. In this light, I will explain why Doom 3 is one the most overtly Christian video games ever made.
Here is what one Christian gamer told me:
There is no question this is the most evil game I have ever played, and I feel incredibly slimed after playing through it. I really don't see any valuable aspect in playing this game, it's not fun. It literally eats away at you spiritually and really sucks you dry. I would highly recommend that anyone who professes themselves to be Christian NOT PLAY THIS GAME.
