OMG, OMG, OMG!!!! A Duke Nukem Forever screenshot. A new one. To prove that the game is still in development. I'm so underwhelmed.
In development for over a decade now, Duke Nukem (it'll take) Forever is the industries longest running joke. "Done when it's done" is 3D Realms mantra, and except for the fact that they've been releasing games like Prey and Max Payne to pay the bills I'd almost recommend banning them from ever trying to develop a game again, ever.
As it is, they've paid for their right to be ridiculed with some good games
along the way, and without further aplomb, enjoy... In all it's glorious size...

The REALLY SAD THING is that when I first saw this link, for just a teensy
weensy nanosecond, a thought flashed across my mind...."The Duke is finally
ready!!??". Those assholes at 3D Realms should know that 2 seconds after DN
Forever is released, it will be sold out. I continue to live in a fantasy
world....

It looks like "Rainbow Six Vegas" has already ripped DNF's theme: Vegas as the
"perfect playground for destruction." Maybe we can't really blame 3D Realms for
the secrecy surrounding this project after all. But when they say: "There's no
possible joke you could make about the game's development time that we haven't
already heard," I beg to differ:
DNF will probably not be finished by the time the aliens arrive for REAL.
However, it will quickly be followed by a really kick-ass expansion pack that
includes Elvis, Jim Morrison, Tom Jones, Bill & Ted, Hunter Thompson, his obese
Samoan attorney, a bunch of indians, time-traveling MIB's, and a tandem truck
full of peyote buttons. ;)
