Midway and Epic Games offered of a quick look at the upcoming Unreal Tournament 3 Wednesday at E3 2007. But before doing so, they announced that the game would be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PC – but for 2007 only. Unreal Tournament 3 will arrive for the Xbox 360 in 2008, according to the companies. The game will first arrive on the PS3 and PC this November. And when it lands, Unreal Tournament 3 will sport a whole new look with some impressive features.
Epic co-founder and vice president Mark Rein said Unreal Tournament 3 will have new modding and customization capabilities. For example, Rein said PS3 players can use the PlayStation Network to take mods and user-created content from the PC version of the game and bring it on to the PS3 version of the game. Rein didn’t offer any further details on how exactly this will be done, but we hope to have more information on that soon.
As for the trailer, it was excellent. Unreal Tournament 3 looks to provide a major upgrade in graphics from the last UT title. The game definitely had a Gear of War flair to it, and it looked like there were some impressive new weapons and vehicles on tap. Here’s a look at some of the new screenshots for UT3.

Looks great to me. Always been a UT fan ever since the first one. Looks like they are going to make good use of the Unreal 3 engine which has devistating graphics.
Lets hope the gameplay hasn't change much. I miss the good old days of fast paced killing sprees.

Yes, we are many that hope that it will be like the original UT from 1999.
But with strange monsters, vehicles and stuff my expitations are low..
I play UT99 all the time still and most of the time the sniper mod.
